ALT Global's WeTraffic for Road Safety- Our We-Traffic products provide a high degree of safety. The durability of the skid-resistant properties and the reliability of application are key strengths inherent in the system. The advantages at a glance:

Excellent skid resistance (BPN > 60)- High quality raw materials guarantee compliance to meet and exceed the BPN > 60 (minimum requirement of NYC DOT). The special-purpose, highly abrasion-resistant additives ensure that these values are maintained throughout the product‘s service life.

Short curing periods- WeTraffic products are rainproof and weather-protected after just 30 minutes. As a result, the product can be installed reliably with good control of weather conditions. The work can often be completed in one go. The surfacing is fully serviceable after approximately 2 hours. After this interval, the coated area can be reopened to traffic.

Outstanding application properties even at low temperatures- WeTraffic systems are also highly suitable for application at lower temperatures.

Plasticizer-free- ALT WeTraffic products are formulated to be semi-elastic and plasticizer-free. Consequently, the materials do not become brittle with time. The elasticity is perfectly matched to the behavior of the bituminous substrate (asphalt).

 

High Friction Surface Treatments (HFST) is the current global trend in road safety measures.  Vibrant colors are being used in conjunction with HSFT more and more to define special zones such as designated bus lanes and protected bicycle lanes and enhance the appearance of road surfaces.  Color-marking surfaces with shapes, lines, numbers, or letters adds additional interest and attracts attention. Colored HFST influences driving behavior as the safety of pedestrians and cyclists can be considerably improved.

Bridge repairs may range from replacing the deck to full-scale concrete repair with replacement of the waterproofing system. Speed in any construction or repair is an important factor and even more so when it comes to bridges. As waterproofing specialists, we have considered this problem in depth and have developed waterproofing Systems using PMMA-based (polymethyl methacrylate) resins that can be installed and fully cured within a very short time. ALT Bridge System components have superior bonding capability to most substrates including concrete.
